Japan's hidden tisanes.
Teasan is a Japanese tisane brand.
We believe caffeine-free deserves a proper seat at the coffee table. We seek out Japan's hidden tisanes, source them directly from the people who grow them, and make them into all-day drinks for the modern tea drinker.
What is a tisane, anyway?
Tea comes from one plant, Camellia sinensis. Green, black, oolong and matcha are all its leaves, and they all have caffeine.
A tisane is an infusion of anything else: leaves, grains, beans, flowers or twigs. Most are naturally caffeine-free, and every one we use is.

Founder story
I'm Keika, and I'm quite sensitive to caffeine. I can't do coffee or matcha at all.
After I moved away from Japan, I found myself always stuck with a sugary drink, the same boring choice of chamomile and peppermint, or just... water. I never had that problem in Tokyo.
Japan has well over a hundred caffeine-free teas, and no one was doing anything interesting with them globally.
So I started Teasan to solve my own problem, and hopefully yours too.
Much love,

Keika, Founder of Teasan

What we believe
- 01
Caffeine-free can be the first choice.
Tisanes aren't a substitute for something else. They're worth choosing on their own.
- 02
Tea doesn't need a ceremony to be celebrated.
Made for the coffee table and every hour of the day. We don't believe tea has to be a performance.
- 03
It matters who grew it.
The base of every blend comes directly from the farm that grows it.
